The British Standards Institution (BSI) awarded FGV Integrated Farming Holdings Sdn Bhd (Chuping Agro Valley) the GLOBALG.A.P. Certification

The British Standards Institution (BSI) is proud to celebrate a momentous milestone in the Malaysia’s agricultural sector with Picasynergy Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd, in partnership with the Malaysia Pineapple Industrial Board (MPIB).

FGV Integrated Farming Holdings Sdn Bhd (Chuping Agro Valley) has been honored as the first company in the Malaysian pineapple plantation industry to receive the coveted GLOBALG.A.P. v5.4.1-GFS certification with GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) recognition. Additionally, FGV Integrated Farming Holdings Sdn Bhd (FGV Chuping Agro Valley) has achieved the distinction of being the pioneer in Malaysia to attain the GLOBALG.A.P. Certification with GLOBALG.A.P. Risk Assessment on Social Practice (GRASP V1.3) add-on.

The certificate presentation ceremony hosted by BSI on Tuesday, 7 May 2024, will not only celebrate FGV Integrated Farming Holdings Sdn Bhd's remarkable achievement but also underscore its unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of food safety, social responsibility, and sustainability in pineapple cultivation.

With globalization shaping today's agricultural landscape, adherence to international standards has become imperative for Malaysian growers seeking to compete in the global marketplace. Certifications such as GLOBALG.A.P. and ISO 22000 serve as hallmarks of excellence, reassuring consumers and stakeholders of product integrity while enhancing market access and credibility.
